The popular iPhone app WunWun has extended its delivery services to the Hamptons, aligning perfectly with the peak summer season. Along with this expansion, WunWun is launching a new feature allowing users to summon drivers on-demand. The delivery and on-demand driver services will be available 24/7 from Friday to Sunday, spanning from Southampton to Montauk.
If you haven’t tried WunWun yet, now is the time. Users can request deliveries from any local store or restaurant and receive their orders in under an hour.
The app allows users to get anything delivered, whether it’s a full grocery list from Citarella, a bottle of champagne, or even a pool float. Once a request is made, the app instantly connects the user with a WunWun Helper who will purchase and deliver the items.
The pricing is straightforward: there’s a $10 delivery fee per town. For instance, a delivery from Montauk to Sag Harbor (spanning four towns) would cost $40, while a delivery within East Hampton would only be $10.
This new driving feature might also provide competition for apps like Uber, with a rate of $30 per town for up to four passengers.
“WunWun has experienced remarkable organic growth since its launch, and this expansion allows us to test our product in new markets,” said Calvin Lai, Co-Founder of WunWun. “Based on our current traction, we’ve identified customer preferences, enabling us to rapidly expand WunWun into many more cities by the end of this year.”
We are eagerly anticipating our next Hamptons trip to try it out ourselves!
