Affluent travelers globally have rated luxury hotel groups highly, such as Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Leading Hotels of the World, and Aman Resorts.
The Luxury Institute conducted a survey asking high-income travelers from Europe, China, and Japan to evaluate their preferred luxury hotel brands based on factors like quality, exclusivity, social status, and overall guest experience.
“The luxury hotel sector is expanding in both potential and the number of brands offering top-tier services,” stated Luxury Institute CEO Milton Pedraza.
“The victors are those consistently delivering extraordinary guest experiences as rated by their clients.”
Among European respondents—specifically from France, Germany, Italy, and the UK—the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, known for curating small, independent luxury properties worldwide, narrowly surpassed the Ritz-Carlton brand (scores of 7.96 and 7.95, respectively).
Meanwhile, wealthy Chinese travelers rated Leading Hotels of the World, which boasts a portfolio of 430 luxury hotels across 80 countries, the highest.
Japanese travelers favored Aman Resorts, giving it an 8 out of 10 score.
