These airlines are renowned for their exceptional in-flight cuisine.

Readers of Travel + Leisure magazine have voted Singapore Airlines as the top international airline for in-flight dining, elevating the standard of airplane food.

The magazine’s annual World’s Best Awards, which invites readers to vote on their favorite hotels, cruises, and destinations, also revealed that the leading airlines for food are predominantly from Asia and the Middle East, dominating the top 10 list.

Emirates and Etihad Airways complete the top three.

Singapore Airlines, already recognized as the best culinary airline by Saveur magazine last year, once again takes the top spot.

The airline’s in-flight menus are crafted by an international culinary panel featuring Michelin-starred chefs such as Yoshihiro Murata from Japan, Georges Blanc from France, and James Beard Award-winning chef Suzanne Goin from Los Angeles.

A sample menu for first class, business class, and premium economy may include dishes like beef bourguignon, lobster Thermidor, Cantonese roast duck, sushi, or rosemary beef brisket.

Passengers in first class, business class, and premium economy can pre-select their main course 24 hours in advance.

To ensure quality, meals are tested in a pressurized tasting room simulating the 30,000 feet dining experience, as noted by Travel + Leisure editors.

Earlier this year, Singapore Airlines introduced a new dining program called “Deliciously Wholesome” catering to health-conscious travelers, offering a balanced menu that includes salads, fish, tofu, cheesecake, and quinoa.

According to Travel + Leisure magazine, the top 10 international airlines for food are:

  1. Singapore Airlines

  4. Qatar Airways
  5. Cathay Pacific
  6. Turkish Airlines
