The Peninsula Hong Kong has long been famous for its extensive fleet of custom Rolls-Royces. Now, the Louis XIII hotel in Macau has taken the title, thanks to an unprecedented order by Hong Kong luxury entrepreneur Stephen Hung. He has ordered 30 Bespoke Extended Wheelbase Phantoms for his new Louis XIII hotel, marking the largest single order of Rolls-Royces in history. Notably, two of these vehicles will be the most expensive Phantoms ever made.

Each of these thirty Rolls-Royces has been meticulously customized by Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke design team at Goodwood, working in close collaboration with Louis XIII and Mr. Hung. Unique features have been added to both the interior and exterior of the cars, including bespoke clocks designed by Graff Luxury Watches. Additionally, the two most expensive Phantoms will include gold-plated accents both inside and out.

Rolls-Royce has also designed the parking and driveways for the fleet at Louis XIII. To ensure the vehicles are handled with the utmost care, Rolls-Royce will train the hotel’s chauffeurs from Macau. Starting in 2016, this $20 million Phantom fleet will transport guests of the Louis XIII hotel, located on the Cotai Strip in Macau. Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, expressed his delight and honor at Mr. Hung’s record-breaking commission, affirming the Phantom’s status as the premier luxury automobile.

Louis XIII aims to attract the ultra-wealthy from China and worldwide, positioning itself as the most luxurious and extravagant hotel and casino globally. Scheduled to open in 2016, the hotel will feature approximately 230 duplex suites, 16 villas, an atelier, and a Michelin-quality restaurant, along with the most extravagant suite in the world. The hotel will also attract shoppers and gamblers with 66 gaming tables and luxury retail shops.
